Vous avez la jalousie french fry? That being said the rod should have taken the 1 billion offer. Facebutt is probably a fleeting phenomena appears to me. MySpace ring a bell? Same thing only a tinge better. However the net is about changing how people interact. Facebutt is merely the latest mushroom to pop up and exhibit the potential of the net lying just under the surface and its potential to change how people interact. Zuckerberg made the argy that you get 0 or 1 chance to change how people interact. You also get 0 or 1 chance to receive 1 billion dollars for a fleeting web-phenomenon such as Facebutt. It would have been much more prudent to accept the 1 billion and I would have done it in a New York minute.
However this was not his choice to make anymore… When you got so much VC money you no longer get to decide anything. Zuckerberg is just the “young face” (take it as a marketing & communication selling point) of facebook not the “decider”.
The story is such a “friendster deja vu”…(only the guy back then, he was offered far less than 1 billion).

Agreed.
